Typical office day (email)
Below is a breakdown of all the emails I have received yesterday. Wouldn't call it outstanding in any way, just a typical day I was bored enough to count them.
Total emails: 18
- Office 365 newsletter, news you might have missed - 1
- External spam - 5
- Internal newsletter, training invitation - 3
- Internal newsletter, informational junk - 2
- Internal newsletter, weekly digest for local office - 1
- Digest from some external blogging platform we purchased to increase engagement (hint: it didn't work) - 2
- Mass email, don't miss those Credential Monitoring findings (which I don't have in my project) - 1
- Mass email, imagine our division in 2030 - 1
- Mass email about planned platform XYZ downtime - 1
- Invitation to our subdivision's Townhall (which I have zero intentions to attend) - 1
Does this look familiar? Or is it usually even worse, and I shouldn't complain and just enjoy this moment of relative peace?
